Enter your savings, monthly contribution, expected return and state pension and see how your net worth could develop until age 100, in today's money.
Saving for a trip, a car or a buffer? Enter your goal, your balance and your monthly deposit and see when you get there and what the interest adds.
Put in what you hold and what it earns, and see what the tax office takes this year — allowances, rates and wealth taxes under your country's rules.
This calculator is for information only. It applies the published limits of one tax year to the figures you enter, with the simplifications the notes describe; it is not advice, and whether a pension contribution suits you depends on more than the tax. Limits change, and your scheme may have its own rules. For a decision, check with an adviser.
Every country rewards saving for retirement with a tax break, and every country caps it: an annual allowance, a contribution limit, a percentage of your income or a fixed amount with a tax reduction. Most limits are per tax year, some can be carried forward, and what your employer pays in often counts too.
This calculator applies the limits of the country you picked, for the current tax year, to your income, your age and what has already been paid in — and values the tax relief the way it is actually given: a deduction at your marginal rate, a tax credit, or a lower tax inside the fund.
The rules are kept in one place and refreshed every tax year; the page says which year it runs on, and the notes under the result say what is simplified.
Put your pensions, income and savings in and see what a contribution does to the whole picture — your retirement date, your state pension and the wealth you leave behind.
