Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using VrijVermogen. We've kept them as short and human as we could.

Welcome to VrijVermogen. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use VrijVermogen.

1. Who we are

VrijVermogen is operated by CEON Business Systems B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands; VrijVermogen is one of its trade names. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean CEON Business Systems B.V.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use VrijVermogen.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure: your e-mail inbox, your passkeys and your devices.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • One person, one account. No sharing or reselling.

3. What VrijVermogen is — and isn't

VrijVermogen is a wealth-tracking and analytics tool. It helps you visualise and understand your finances using AI-generated insights. There is no connection to your bank or broker: you enter your data yourself or upload exports, and nothing in VrijVermogen can move your money.

VrijVermogen is not a regulated financial advisor, broker or bank. Nothing in VrijVermogen — including AI answers, stock reports, valuations and investment ideas — is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a personal recommendation. Always do your own research, and consult a licensed advisor for material financial decisions.

4. AI-generated content

VrijVermogen uses AI models to generate charts, summaries and insights. While we work hard to make these accurate, AI output can contain errors. You are responsible for verifying any information before acting on it. Our Privacy Policy explains which providers process your data for the AI features.

5. Figures, calculations and market data

  • Everything VrijVermogen calculates — net worth, returns, projections, scenarios, valuations, tax and pension estimates — is a rough estimate based on the data you enter, third-party data and simplifying assumptions. Actual outcomes will differ.
  • Stock prices, exchange rates, dividends and other market data come from third-party providers. They can be delayed (usually the previous trading day's close), incomplete or wrong, and are not suitable for trading.
  • We do not guarantee that any figure is accurate, complete or up to date. Do not rely on them as the only basis for a financial decision; check them with your bank, broker, pension provider or tax authority.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use VrijVermogen for any illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape or attempt to disrupt the Service.
  • Upload data you don't have the right to use.
  • Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity.

7. Subscriptions, payment and cancellation

VrijVermogen offers a free plan and a paid plan. The paid plan is a subscription — monthly or yearly — billed in advance through our payment provider Mollie, and it renews automatically for the same period until it is cancelled. Prices are shown including VAT. What each plan includes is listed on the pricing page.

  • Cancelling — send us a message through the contact page or e-mail support@vrijvermogen.nl. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for: no further payment is taken, and the plan stays active until then.
  • 30-day refund — if you subscribe for the first time and are not happy, let us know within 30 days of the first payment and we refund it in full.
  • Right of withdrawal — as a consumer in the EU you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. By starting the paid plan right away you agree that we begin providing it during that period; the 30-day refund above covers you in any case.

8. Your data, your content

You own your data. By using VrijVermogen, you grant us a limited licence to process your data only as needed to provide the Service, in line with our Privacy Policy. You can download everything we store about you, and request deletion of your account, at any time in Settings → Personal → "Your data".

9. Service availability

We do our best to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or perfectly accurate. We may schedule maintenance windows and will notify you in advance whenever practical.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time: Settings → Personal → "Your data" → "Delete my account" → "Request deletion". We delete the account and all its data within 30 days and confirm by e-mail. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that puts us or other users at risk.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VrijVermogen is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any financial decisions you make based on information shown in the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer protection laws say otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of VrijVermogen after the changes means you accept the updated Terms.
